Hello! My name is Paul Cain and I have owned and operated a local business called At Your Service, Limited as my full-time profession since 2015. Under that umbrella, I perform a lot of different services for businesses and individuals here in the Coachella Valley. I have worked in several different fields in my career, and I can use my many skills to your benefit. My primary background is in law and bookkeeping, but I have also worked as a casino dealer, office manager, secretary/receptionist, and general office assistant. I have used and learned many computer programs in my nearly 40-year working career, and can usually master any program with a little time and patience.
Everyone gets 24 hours in a day, right? But what if you run out of time before you complete all of your tasks for a given day? If you find this happening more often than you would like, that’s where a good personal assistant can come in. You and I can sit down and assess what kinds of assistance you need, and then you can turn those items over to me. They may be tasks you don’t like to do, or don’t do well, or simply don’t have enough hours in the day to complete (but that you want done “right”). They can be as mundane as running errands, or as complicated as assisting you with personal business transactions. You can also hire my services for a one-time project (even one that spans several months) or even a one-day project, if that meets your needs. As an independent contractor, I generally charge by the hour, so you’re not hiring an employee who will sit around waiting for you to generate work while the meter is running. And I work very hard to utilize my time so that you are not paying for any waste.
Whatever personal services you need, you probably don’t want to hire more than one person to perform each service one time – you would have to spend a lot of time training multiple people to demonstrate how you would like each task done. (If you had the time to do that, you wouldn’t need a personal assistant!) But you might be willing to offload those tasks to one person who can handle a myriad of duties and responsibilities, and can manage and outsource those he can’t to professionals you can trust.
